Team Latvia World Juniors

LSAK, in collaboration with the Latvian Canadian Cultural Centre and The Latvian Hockey Fan Club In Canada will be hosting a "Meet & Greet" afternoon with the Latvian national junior hockey team, which will be in Toronto participating at the World Junior Hockey Championships. The event will be held on Saturday, December 31st beginning at 2:30 pm (leaving plenty of time to get ready for New Year's festivities) and will feature hockey related activities for kids of all ages and an autograph session with the team. Light refreshments and snacks will be available.

The Latvian Canadian Cultural Centre is located at 4 Credit Union Drive, Toronto, Ontario.

Team Latvia World Juniors

LSAK president Modris Lorbergs has arranged for a special Latvian Fan section for all off Team Latvia's games at the upcoming 2017 World Junior Hockey Championship in Toronto, Ontario. Team Latvia will have the daunting task of taking on three of the world's top hockey nations in the first round, including Russia, the United States, and hosts Canada. They'll finish off the preliminary round against Team Slovakia. These special seats are being offered at a discounted price of only $270 (all taxes and fees included), which is a savings of $30 off the official tournament package price. LSAK Latvian Curling Toronto

Paul Bambers will once again host LSAK Curling at Tam Heather Curling Club (730 Military Trail, Scarborough, ON) on Sunday, January 22nd between 12:30-3 pm. The event is open to curlers of all abilities and ages, and will feature basic instruction for beginners, followed by open curling.

The cost for the afternoon is $20 for LSAK members ($30 for non-members, including membership).
Participants are asked to wear loose, warm clothing and clean running shoes.
